The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effietiveness of remdesivir (RDV) in reducing the rate of of all-cause medically attended visits (MAVs; medical visits attended in person by the participant and a health care professional) or death in non-hospitalized participants with early stage coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and to evaluate the safety of RDV administered in an outpatient setting. A Study to Evaluate the Safety of the SARS-CoV-2 Vaccination in Patients Waitlisted for Solid Organ Transplantation Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to determine the safety of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in patients listed for solid organ transplantation, including heart, lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas. Mucosal and Microbiota Changes During Acute Campylobacteriosis Rochester, Minn. Gastrointestinal (GI) infection with Campylobacter causes inflammation in the bowel and can change bacteria in the gut. Certain individuals with Campylobacter infection are also known to develop chronic bowel problems such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). The researchers are doing this study to understand if changes in gut bacteria and gut mucosal lining during an acute infection can help identify individuals who might be at risk for developing problems in the future. Cellular Senescence and COVID-19 Long-Hauler Syndrome Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to test if senescent cells and their secretome contribute to Long-Hauler Syndrome and if a clinical trial of senolytic drugs, which selectively eliminate senescent cells, should be initiated.
