Biographical summary
Jun Tan, Ph.D., is a board-certified medical physicist. Dr. Tan received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Oakland University, Rochester, MI. He completed training in Therapeutic Medical Physics Program at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX, in 2020, and then was appointed as an Assistant professor. During his appointment, Dr. Tan was actively involved in routine clinic duties, commissioning and QA of radiation therapy machines, research on the application AI in the clinic environment, and development of clinical applications. Dr. Tan joined the Department of Radiation Oncology of Mayo Clinic Florida in April 2023.
