Steven W. Ressler, M.D.

Dr. Ressler is an Internist in the division of General Internal Medicine who joined Mayo Clinic in 2002. Prior to coming to Mayo Clinic, he practiced in a rural setting at Payson Regional Medical Center, where he cared for Internal Medicine and Pediatric patients as an outpatient clinician, Hospitalist also serving as co-director of Adult Critical Care.

Dr. Ressler earned an undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and M.D. at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine. He completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center (Banner) and Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Since joining Mayo Clinic, Dr. Ressler has cared for patients in Consultative Medicine, Executive Health, and International Medicine, also rotating on Hospitalist services for several years. He is chair of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Physician Ambassador to Canada for Mayo Clinic International. He also is the principal investigator for the Undiagnosed Mass Clinic and research program, which expedites diagnostic care for patients with a newly discovered mass.

Dr. Ressler is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He and his family love the Arizona desert and its endless opportunities for camping and hiking. They are also avid skiers and flock north at every opportunity.
