Dinesh Rao is a neuroradiologist in the Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville. He specializes in head and neck, skull base, and cerebrovascular imaging. Dr. Rao also performs minimally invasive head and neck and spine biopsies and procedures.

Dr. Rao graduated from Tulane University, followed by radiology residency at the University of Miami — Jackson Memorial Hospital. He completed a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Washington. Dr. Rao has published extensively in head and neck, skull base, stroke imaging and imaging of spine trauma. He has given many national and international invited talks and lectures.
