Biographical summary
Dr. Moseley received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Western Ontario in 1995. After a 7-year software development stint at Honeywell
Industrial Automation and Control, Doug ended up at the Ontario Cancer Institute within Princess Margaret Cancer Center in Toronto, Canada. He facilitated fundamental research and development of cone-beam computed tomography with a benchtop kV-xray system. The translation of this technology to the clinic in 2003 proved the efficacy of image-guided radiation therapy for photon radiotherapy. In 2010, Dr. Moseley won the 2010 University of Toronto's Colin R. Woolf Award for Teaching Excellence in Continuing Education. Doug's research interests include image-guidance, tomographic reconstruction and artificial intelligence. Dr. Moseley joined the Radiation Oncology Department
at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester in Jan, 2020. Dr. Moseley has been certified in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics by the American Board of Radiology since 2007.
