Timothy I. Morgenthaler, M.D., is board-certified in sleep medicine and pulmonary medicine. He is also a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.

Dr. Morgenthaler attended medical school at Dartmouth Medical School. He obtained training in internal medicine and subspecialty training pulmonary and critical care medicine at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Morgenthaler's clinical practice focuses on the treatment of patients with central and obstructive sleep apnea, sleep-related breathing disorders, and other adult sleep disorders. His research interests include: outcomes research, novel techniques, device innovation, and health care delivery in the areas of sleep medicine. He also serves as a vice-chair for quality at Mayo Clinic.
