Biographical summary
Dr. Nicholas Matthees is a board certified neuroradiologist with CAQ certification. He earned his MD degree from Creighton University in 2014 and subsequently completed residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ and a neuroradiology fellowship at the Barrow Neurological Institute. After fellowship, he practiced at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN and then returned to Barrow Neurological Institute before joining Mayo Clinic Arizona. Dr. Matthees also holds a board certification in magnetic resonance safety.
Dr. Matthees is involved in medical student and resident education and is a member of the neuroradiology division, involved in diagnostic imaging as well as neuroradiology procedures.
