Michael Mao, M.D. is a nephrologist in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. He received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he went on to earn his medical degree. He then completed an internal medicine internship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, followed by an internal medicine residency in the Mayo Clinic Department of Internal Medicine and a nephrology fellowship at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education.
