Biographical summary
Grace Lin is an advanced heart failure cardiologist and echocardiographer, Professor of Medicine and Chair of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida. She is a 2023-2024 alumna of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellowship, during which she worked in the Congressional Budget Office. A nationally recognized expert in cardiac amyloidosis and former heart failure
lead for the Mayo Echo Core Laboratory, her research interests include impacts of payment policies on healthcare delivery and cardiovascular effects of cancer immunotherapies, cell and gene therapies. As Vice-Chair of Circulatory Failure at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, she implemented alternative heart failure practice models including community paramedicine and remote monitoring programs.
Dr. Lin graduated with honors and special honors from the University of Chicago and received her MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, followed by residency and fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. She is board certified in echocardiography, cardiology, and advanced heart failure and transplant. In 2021, she received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where her team was winner of the 2021 Global New Ventures Competition. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
