Alyssa M. Larish, M.D., is a Obstetrician and Gynecologist with a special interest in Obstetric Hospitalist care.
Her clinical focus includes:
- Expertise in management of acute obstetric care, delivery, and emergencies such as pre-eclampsia and obstetric hemorrhage.
- Immediate inpatient assessment of complex and high risk pregnant patients
- Patient education and communication to empower patient centered care and shared decision making
In addition to her clinical care, Dr. Larish is very active in all of Mayo's shields. Her research background has focused on multidisciplinary investigative efforts with other clinical specialties and basic sciences. She is active in quality improvement, where she has initiated several quality improvement projects and serves on the quality committee. Dr. Larish is also active in resident and medical student education both in the direct clinical setting and via didactics and simulation.
