Dr. Heiken is a specialist in Abdominal Radiology with specific expertise in the Gastrointestinal Tract. His clinical focuses include:

  • Imaging assessment of diseases of the Liver and Biliary tract
  • Diagnosis of benign and malignant diseases of the Pancreas
  • Diagnosis and staging of Colorectal cancer
  • Evaluation of Inflammatory Bowel Disease with CT and MR enterography
  • Fluoroscopic evaluation of esophageal and gastrointestinal disorders

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Heiken is actively involved in gastrointestinal tract research and resident and fellow education.
