Biographical summary
Samanthika Gunaratne, M.D., is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. She is also an associate professor in medicine at the Department of Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. She is a senior associate consultant the division of General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Gunaratne attended medical school at University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She completed her residency training at Hurley Medical Center in Michigan.
Her research interest includes outcome research, effects of hormonal therapy, and research pertaining to diversity and inclusion.
