Nirvikar (Nirvi) Dahiya, M.D., is a radiologist with expertise in diagnostic and interventional ultrasound. He attended medical school at Punjabi University, India and obtained training in radiology at St. John's Medical College, India and abdominal imaging with focus in ultrasound at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR), Washington University in St Louis, MO.

Dr. Dahiya's clinical practice focuses on diagnostic and interventional ultrasound with special interests in sonographic detection of musculoskeletal and sports medicine injuries and treatment with US guided procedures. Additionally, he has interest in transplant imaging, gynecological imaging and vascular ultrasound. He is an early adopter of Shear Wave elastography and contrast ultrasound as adjunct tools for diagnosis. His research efforts in radiology predominantly center around the field of general ultrasound and musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound with emphasis on elastography.

Dr. Dahiya is Board-certified by the American Board of Radiologists and is currently Professor and Consultant at Mayo Clinic, Department of Radiology.
