Mayo Clinic surgeons developed a new protocol that makes Whipple surgery an option for more people and improves the survival among this group. In addition, in the Mayo Clinic Gastrointestinal Cancer Program, new diagnostic tools, treatments and approaches to prevention for pancreatic cancer are being studied.
