Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Nausea
  2. vomiting

Less common

  1. Acid or sour stomach
  2. back pain
  3. chest discomfort or tightness
  4. chills
  5. fast heartbeat
  6. feeling of warmth
  7. fever
  8. headache
  9. heartburn
  10. hives, itching, rash
  11. hoarseness
  12. indigestion
  13. joint pain, stiffness, or swelling
  14. redness of the face, neck, arms and occasionally, upper chest
  15. stomach pain, discomfort, or upset
  16. swelling of the eyelids, face, lips, hands, or feet
  17. trouble breathing
  18. weakness

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.
