Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

1. Blurred vision
2. chest tightness
3. dizziness
4. fever
5. headache
6. hoarseness
7. irritation
8. joint pain, stiffness, swelling
9. nervousness
10. pounding in the ears
11. redness of the skin
12. slow or fast heartbeat
13. swelling of the eyelids, face, lips, hands, or feet
14. tenderness, pain, swelling, warmth, skin discoloration, and prominent superficial veins over the affected area
15. trouble breathing
16. trouble swallowing

Less common

1. Blood or black, tarry stools
2. chest pain or discomfort
3. confusion
4. constipation
5. difficulty in speaking
6. double vision
7. inability to move the arms, legs, or facial muscles
8. inability to speak
9. nausea
10. pain or discomfort in the arms, jaws, back, or neck
11. sever stomach pain
12. slow speech
13. sweating
14. vomiting
15. vomiting of blood material that looks like coffee grounds

Rare

1. Anxiety
2. cough
3. dizziness or lightheadedness
4. fainting
5. pain, redness, or swelling in the arm or leg

Incidence not known

1. Agitation
2. back pain
3. coma
4. drowsiness
5. hallucination
6. mood or mental changes
7. seizures
8. stiff neck
9. unusual tiredness or weakness
