Biographical summary
Sarah Chalmers, M.D., is a board-certified Pulmonologist and Intensivist with expertise in Cystic Fibrosis and Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis. She is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic School of Medicine.
Dr. Chalmers attended medical school at the University of North Dakota. She obtained training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Illinois — Peoria and subspecialty training in pulmonary and critical care Mayo Clinic — Rochester.
Dr. Chalmers's clinical practice focuses on the treatment of adults and adolescents with all forms of bronchiectasis with a special interest in congenital diseases such as cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary dyskinesia. Her research interests include: bronchiectasis treatment and outcomes, healthcare quality improvement.
