Michelle Louie, M.D., MSCR, FACOG is a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon with an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology focused-practice designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery (MIGS). Her clinical interests include:

  • Minimally invasive, fertility/uterine-sparing procedures for uterine fibroids/leiomyoma, ovarian cysts, pelvic masses, Essure-removal, uterine anomalies, and endometriosis
  • Hysterectomy for transgender men
  • Improving quality of life for patients suffering from painful, heavy or irregular menstrual bleeding and engaging in shared-decision making with patients to determine their treatment plan
  • Improving health-equity and patient advocacy for underserved populations

In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Louie is actively engaged in academic research and education. She provides career mentorship and clinical instruction to medical students, residents, and fellows. Dr. Louie continues to publish clinically-relevant, high-impact scientific manuscripts with a special interest in reducing health disparities and improving post-operative outcomes.
