Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

Incidence not known

  1. Absent, missed, or irregular menstrual periods
  2. blistering, peeling, or loosening of the skin
  3. chills
  4. confusion
  5. cough
  6. diarrhea
  7. difficulty in breathing or swallowing
  8. dizziness, lightheadedness
  9. dull or aching stomach pain
  10. fainting
  11. fast heartbeat
  12. fast ,weak pulse
  13. fever
  14. foul-smelling vaginal discharge
  15. full or bloated feeling
  16. increased urge to urinate
  17. joint or muscle pain
  18. pale, cold clammy skin
  19. pressure in the stomach
  20. rapid, shallow breathing
  21. red irritated eyes
  22. red skin lesions, often with a purple center
  23. shivering
  24. skin itching, rash, or redness
  25. sore throat
  26. sores, ulcers, or white spots in the mouth or on the lips
  27. stomach cramps
  28. stopping of menstrual bleeding
  29. sudden increase in stomach or shoulder pain
  30. sweating
  31. swelling of the face, throat, or tongue
  32. swelling of the stomach area
  33. unusual or large amount of vaginal bleeding
  34. unusual tiredness or weakness
  35. unusual vaginal bleeding

Some side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects. Check with your health care professional if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome or if you have any questions about them:

  2. nausea
