Many adults and children benefit from a multidisciplinary evaluation in the Gonda Vascular Center, where rheumatologists work closely with other specialists, including experts in vascular medicine, vascular surgery, and diagnostic and interventional radiology. The experts of the Vasculitis Clinic conduct research into the cause and treatment of vasculitis and related conditions. Research areas of interest include: clinical epidemiology of vasculitic conditions, biomarkers for various forms of vasculitis, clinical trials for large vessel vasculitis, biomarkers and treatment trials for retroperitoneal fibrosis.
