Louis M. Wong Kee Song, M.D., is a gastroenterologist, with special interest in therapeutic endoscopy. His clinical focus includes:

  • Complex and challenging resection of precancerous and early cancerous lesions of the gastrointestinal tract using advanced resection techniques, including endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), endoscopic full thickness resection (EFTR) and submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection (STER)
  • Endoscopic management of conditions, such as achalasia (peroral endoscopic myotomy), Zenker's diverticulum (flexible endoscopic cricopharyngeal myotomy) and refractory gastroparesis (peroral endoscopic pyloromyotomy)
  • Deep enteroscopy for the management of small bowel polyps in conditions such as familial adenomatous polyposis and Peutz-Jegher's syndrome
  • Endoscopic management of complex strictures, defects (e.g., leaks and fistulas), and bleeding lesions (e.g., gastric varices)

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Wong Kee Song is active in research and education, providing mentorship to fellows in Gastroenterology. He authors expert content and has numerous publications in scientific journals.
