Biographical summary
Mayo Osundiji, M.B.B.S., Ph.D., is a board-certified Clinical Geneticist in the Department of Clinical Genomics at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Osundiji is also board-certified in Molecular Diagnostics. He has broad expertise in the diagnosis and management of rare disorders across the age continuum. Dr. Osundiji's clinical and research interest areas include cancer genetics, cardiovascular, skeletal, and neurogenetics.
Dr. Osundiji completed his PhD studies in Medicine at the University of Cambridge, and Medical School at the University of London (St. Bartholomew's Hospital and The Royal London Hospital), United Kingdom. He completed Medical Specialty training in Clinical Genetics at Mayo Clinic and Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Osundiji is happy to Co-Chair the Treatment Guidelines Working Group of the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) and to be a Member of the ClinGen Urea Cycle Disorders Variant Curation Expert Panel.
