Biographical summary
Conor O'Donnell, M.B., B.Ch., B.A.O., is a Medical Oncologist in the Department of Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida. Dr. O'Donnell specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers, including colon, rectal, stomach, esophagus, liver, pancreas and anal malignancies.
He obtained his medical degree from University College Dublin in 2018. Dr. O'Donnell then went on to complete his training in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto and Medical Oncology at McMaster University in Canada. He subsequently completed an Advanced Oncology Fellowship in gastrointestinal malignancies at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He holds certification in Medical Oncology from the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) in this discipline.
Dr. O'Donnell is committed to improving cancer care and treatment options for his patients. He has authored several papers on the management of gastrointestinal malignancies. Some of his areas of interest include geriatric oncology, prognostic tools to better inform shared decision-making with patients and involvement in clinical trials.
