Biographical summary
Aleksandra Murawska Baptista, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician who also completed a fellowship program in Hospital Medicine and has been practicing as a Hospitalist since 2017. She currently holds the role of Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic and a Consultant in the Division of Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Murawska Baptista graduated from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland and further advanced her expertise with a research fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida. She then completed her residency at UAB in Alabama. Afterward, she served as an Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital before joining the Hospital Internal Medicine Department in Florida as a Senior Associate Consultant.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Murawska Baptista focuses on the treatment of patients requiring hospital admissions for various conditions. She is actively involved in several committees, including the Sepsis Committee and the Educational Committee, and is also part of the Physician Recruitment Committee. Her work with residents and medical students is a passion, and she is committed to advancing their education, including creating innovative curricula to enhance learning and clinical training.
In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Dr. Murawska Baptista is also the Director of an international medical conference, where she works to bring together global leaders in the field to share knowledge and collaborate on innovations in patient care.
Her research interests include COVID treatment and outcomes, rare diagnoses, and quality improvement projects aimed at advancing healthcare delivery.
