Biographical summary
Dr. Jess Monas has worked at Mayo Clinic Arizona since 2018 as a Consultant in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She is an Assistant Professor at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine. Her
undergraduate background is in business management and information systems with an additional focus in studio art. She graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine in 2007. Thereafter, she completed her residency in 2011 at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Program, training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Monas lectures nationally for the Center for Medical Education with the Emergency Medicine and Acute Care critical appraisal series. She can also be heard monthly, reviewing the latest medical literature for her Emergency Medical Abstract podcast with EM:RAP.
