Biographical summary
Homan Mohammadi, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Mohammadi specializes in the management of head and neck, genitourinary, and skin cancers. Dr. Mohammadi received his MD from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his radiation oncology residency training at the Moffitt Cancer Center. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic Florida, Dr. Mohammadi was a faculty radiation oncologist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women's Cancer Center where he also served as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. His primary research interests lie with the use of advanced radiotherapy techniques to improve precision and reduce side effects, clinical trials to improve outcomes, and the use of particle therapy.
