Marc Matthews, M.D., FAAFP, DABOM, is a family medicine physician who focuses on providing continuing and comprehensive care for the individual and family across all ages, genders, diseases, and parts of the body. His clinical focus includes:

  • Person-affirming care for transgender, gender diverse and intersex individuals
  • Complex coordination of care and diagnosis of unresolved illness
  • Management of chronic diseases, such as obesity, hypertension, asthma and diabetes mellitus
  • Promoting each patient's understanding of disease and empowering patients to become partners in managing their health
  • Discerning each patient's unique expectations of living with chronic disease and collaborating with patients to resolve issues and achieve balance

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Matthews is active in research and education, providing mentorship to medical and NP/PA students. He authors expert content and publishes in high-impact scientific journals.
