Biographical summary
Dane E. Klett, M.D., is an endourologist and joined the Faculty of Mayo Clinic Florida after 3 years in academic practice in Nebraska. He specializes in the surgical management of urinary stone disease (ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy [PCNL]) as well as the medical and surgical management of enlarged prostate (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate [TURP], Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate [HOLEP]). In addition to patient care, Dr. Klett participates in research on stone disease and BPH.
Dr. Klett received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) and medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine (Omaha, NE). He completed an internship in general surgery and residency in the Department of Urology at University of Utah (Salt Lake City, UT). He completed fellowship training in endourology and minimally invasive urologic surgery at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN). He is certified by the American Board of Urology.
