Biographical summary
Samar H. Ibrahim, MBChB, is the medical director of the pediatric liver transplant program within the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Ibrahim is a physician scientist. She studies mechanisms of liver injury and inflammation in the lab and is interested in identifying disease biomarkers and therapeutic targets. Her primary clinical interests are steatohepatitis, cholestatic liver diseases, acute liver failure and liver transplantation.
