Biographical summary
Dana Herrigel, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and currently serves as the Director of Clinical Education for the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine on the Florida Campus. Prior to her career at Mayo, she worked as a chemical engineer for Merck and completed medical school, residency, chief residency, and faculty positions as a Course Director and Associate Program Director at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She practices hospital medicine and her clinical interests include: early recognition of clinical decompensation, point-of-care ultrasound, experiential learning and simulation in medicine, aerospace medicine, and training transitions in medical education.
