Wilson Gonsalves, M.D., is an associate professor of medicine. He has a medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship training at Mayo Clinic. He is board certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine, and has a postdoctoral certificate in clinical research. He has been involved in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows, and has developed several educational programs and courses in hematology and oncology.

Dr. Gonsalves has received several honors and awards for his academic achievements and medical education, including the Barbara Bush Distinguished Fellowship Award and the Tow Tan Humanism Award. He has extensive research experience and interests in plasma cell disorders, metabolomics, and clinical trials. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals such as Blood, Leukemia, and Mayo Clinic Proceedings. He is also an editor-in-chief and editorial board member of several oncology and hematology journals, and a reviewer for many others. He is an active member of several professional societies and committees, such as the American Society of Hematology, the International Myeloma Society, and the NIH Clinical Center.
