Biographical summary
Dr. Sara Daniel joins the HPB division in the Department of Surgery with a clinical practice focusing on peritoneal surface malignancies, gastric cancer, and retroperitoneal sarcoma. Her research interests are in improving intraperitoneal therapies for patients with metastatic disease, including minimally invasive techniques and novel drugs in the setting of clinical trials. Dr. Daniel has also completed an observership in gastric cancer surgery and research at Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys gardening and exploring in nature with her husband, son, and two dogs.
