Biographical summary
Dr. Supavit "Mac" Chesdachai is an infectious disease specialist with expertise in general infectious diseases, cardiovascular infections, and transplant infectious diseases. He is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
Dr. Chesdachai received his medical degree from Mahidol University in Thailand. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of Minnesota (Global Health Pathway) and Infectious Diseases Fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester (Transplant and Immunocompromised Track). He also received a Certificate in Clinical and Translational Science from Mayo Clinic Center for Clinical and Translational Science and a Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers' Health from the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
Dr. Chesdachai's clinical practice focuses on treating patients with general infectious diseases, cardiovascular infections, tropical medicine, and transplant infectious diseases. His research interests include cardiac device infections and infections in patients with solid organ transplantations.
