Biographical summary
Moritz Binder, M.D., M.P.H., obtained his MD from Albert-Ludwigs University in Germany and his MPH from Harvard School of Public Health in the US. He completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in hematology/oncology at Mayo Clinic, where he also received training in clinical and translational research, bioinformatics, and cancer genomics. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology, and holds a license to practice medicine in Minnesota and Germany. He has received several honors and awards for his academic excellence and research achievements, such as the Young Investigator Award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation and the Gerstner Family Career Development Award from the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine.
Dr. Binder has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles, editorials, and abstracts in the fields of hematologic malignancies, epigenetics, and computational biology. He is also a reviewer for several journals, such as Blood, Leukemia, and Haematologica.
