Biographical summary
Staci Beamer, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She joined the staff of Mayo Clinic in 2015. She earned her B.S. at Wake Forest University, and her medical degree from the University of North Carolina. She trained in the Integrated Cardiothoracic Surgery training program at the University of North Carolina. She serves as chair of the Division of Thoracic Surgery and the Mayo Clinic Arizona Robotic Committee.
She is a thoracic surgeon with a special interest in robotic thoracic surgery to treat both benign and malignant conditions of the chest. She has performed over 750 robotic cases. She has a special interest in lung cancer, diaphragm disease, chest wall/pulmonary sarcomas, and pulmonary coccidioidomycosis.
She is active in education, serving as the fellowship director and as clinical faculty at the Mayo Clinic Arizona medical school.
