Aneel Ashrani, M.D., M.S., completed his fellowship in hematology, oncology and transplantation at the University of Minnesota, where he also earned a master's degree in clinical research. He is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, and has a special interest in bleeding and thrombotic disorders.

Dr. Ashrani has received several awards for his teaching and research excellence, and has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and abstracts. He is also the program director of the Special Coagulation Laboratory Fellowship and the Advanced Clinical Coagulation Fellowship at Mayo Clinic.
