Ronald S. Go, M.D., is a professor of medicine with expertise in benign hematology, multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, lymphoma, and Erdheim-Chester disease. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, and completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, and Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He is board certified in hematology and medical oncology, and holds medical licenses in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota.

He has received several honors and awards, including the Laureate Award from the Mayo Clinic Department of Medicine, the Teacher of the Year Award from the Mayo Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program, and the AACR/ASCO Scholarship/Travel Award. He has served as the associate program director of the Gundersen Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program, the leader of the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine — Myeloma Clinic, and the chair of the Non-Malignant Hematology Specialty Council.

He has published over 130 peer-reviewed articles, mainly focusing on health services and outcomes research in cancer, clinical significance of monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance, and the pathogenesis and treatment of histiocytic neoplasms.
