Biographical summary
Daniel S. Elliott, M.D., is a board-certified urologist and a Professor of Urology at the Mayo Clinic in the Department of Urology. His main focus of practice and research is on the management of male stress urinary incontinence following prostate cancer treatment. He has performed over 2,000 artificial sphincter procedures and published over 75 peer-reviewed manuscripts specifically on the artificial urinary sphincter. He also specializes in female urinary incontinence and benign growth of the prostate.
He attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Southern California and completed his urologic residency training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He is fellowship trained in Voiding Dysfunction and Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has been on staff at Mayo since 1999.
