肠道气体是消化道中空气的积聚,在打嗝排出或经直肠排出之前通常觉察不到,也称为肠胃气胀。从胃到直肠,整个消化道都含有肠道气体,这是吞咽和消化的自然结果。
事实上,豆类等某些食物直至进入大肠的结肠部分才会完全分解。结肠中的细菌作用于这些食物,因此产生气体。
任何人每天都会排气数次。偶尔嗳气或肠胃气胀属于正常现象。然而,肠道气体过多有时意味着消化系统疾病。
上肠道气体过多可能因吞咽过量空气、暴饮暴食、抽烟、嚼口香糖或假牙松动所致。下肠道气体过多可能因某些食物吃得太多、不能充分消化某些食物或结肠中的菌群发生变化所致。
肠道气体本身很少意味着严重医疗状况。虽然可能引起不适和尴尬,但这通常只是消化系统正常工作的表现。如果肠道气体令您烦恼,不妨试试改变饮食。
但是,如果肠道气体情况严重或持续,或伴随呕吐、腹泻、便秘、非有意性的体重减轻、便中带血或胃灼热,请与医务人员约诊。
