椰子水是椰子里的透明液体,而椰奶是椰子水和磨碎椰子肉的混合物,两者不同。
所以,椰子水是一种果汁。但与其他果汁不同,原味椰子水的添加糖量和热量都低。
有些人喝椰子水是因为它含有电解质,这种带有电荷的矿物质有助于人体补充水分。运动或重体力劳动时出汗以及腹泻等疾病均令人体流失水分和电解质。椰子水中含有钾、钠和锰等电解质。其含量因品牌而异。

作为一种休闲饮料,椰子水被认为较为安全。椰子水确实含有热量,每份 240 毫升(8 盎司)的椰子水含有 45 到 60 卡路里的热量。权衡利弊,白水仍是明智之选。
