Biographical summary
Dr. Ma is a head and neck radiation oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Rochester. Dr. Ma specializes in complex tumors of the head and neck, and co-leads the Oropharynx Multi-disciplinary Clinic along with Dr. Eric Moore in head and neck surgery.
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Ma is active in research and education. He has a number of active clinical trials investigating novel treatment techniques for head and neck cancers. He authors expert content in head and neck cancer and publishes in numerous journals and textbooks. He is currently Chair for Research in Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Ma has led and participated in numerous educational endeavors and has been honored with the Mayo Fellows Association Teacher of the Year Award in 2018.
