Sam Hozayen, M.B., B.Ch.

Dr. Sameh Hozayen is a board-certified internist with two decades of clinical experience, currently serving as a hospitalist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona. He specializes in managing complex inpatient conditions including acute end-organ dysfunction, and sepsis. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hozayen leads research focused on atrial fibrillation in non-cardiac illness, early sepsis detection, and myocarditis. His work has contributed to international clinical guidelines and has been widely recognized for its impact on patient outcomes. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and fostering collaboration within interdisciplinary teams to optimize hospitalized patient care.
