- Less invasive ways to implant a VAD.
- Infection risk and treatment after LVAD.
- Understanding how an LVAD affects blood flow to the heart and rest of the body.
- How well patients do after LVAD surgery.
- Prevention and management of VAD complications.
- How people considering LVAD destination therapy make decisions about their care. This is called shared decision-making intervention.
