Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 5 teaspoons paprika
- 4 1/2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
Directions
Mix ingredients together. Divide equally among 4 airtight containers.
To use the taco seasoning mix, in a nonstick skillet, cook 1 pound of lean hamburger or diced chicken breast. Drain excess fat.
Add 3/4 cup water to the skillet. Bring to a boil.
Add seasoning mix by teaspoons until desired taste is reached.
Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until liquid is reduced.
