Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Body aches and pain
  2. blistering, burning, crusting, dryness, or flaking of the skin
  3. burning, itching, and pain in hairy areas
  4. chills
  5. cough
  6. difficulty in breathing
  7. ear congestion
  8. fever
  9. headache
  10. itching, scaling, severe redness, soreness, or swelling of the skin
  11. loss of voice
  12. muscle aches and pains
  13. pus at the root of hair
  14. shivering
  15. sneezing
  16. sore throat
  17. stuffy or runny nose
  18. sweating
  19. unusual tiredness or weakness

Less common

  1. General feeling of discomfort or illness
  2. itching or pain of the genital area
  3. joint pain
  4. shivering
  5. sweating
  6. trouble sleeping
  7. vomiting

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.
