Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Back pain
  2. bone pain
  3. dark urine
  4. difficulty in moving
  5. difficulty in swallowing
  6. dry lips or skin
  7. fast heartbeat
  8. flushing, redness of the skin
  9. headache
  10. itching of the skin
  11. joint pain
  12. lack or loss of strength
  13. lack or slowing of normal growth in children
  14. loss of appetite
  15. loss or thinning of the hair
  16. muscle aches, cramps, pain, or stiffness
  17. nausea or vomiting
  18. stomach pain, severe
  19. swelling of the face, throat, or tongue
  20. swelling of the hands, ankles, feet, or lower legs
  21. swollen joints
  22. trouble breathing
  23. unusual tiredness or weakness
  24. unusually warm skin
  25. yellow eyes or skin

Incidence not known

  1. Bloating
  2. chills
  3. constipation
  4. discouragement
  5. fear, nervousness
  6. feeling sad or empty
  7. fever
  8. indigestion
  9. irritability
  10. lack of appetite
  11. loss of bone mineral density
  12. loss of interest or pleasure
  13. pain or swelling in the arms or legs without any injury
  14. pains in the stomach, side, or abdomen, possibly radiating to the back
  15. thoughts or attempts at killing oneself
  16. trouble concentrating
  17. trouble sleeping
