Side Effects

Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Check with your doctor immediately if any of the following side effects occur:

More common

  1. Blistering, crusting, irritation, itching, or reddening of the skin
  2. blue lips, fingernails, or skin
  3. confusion
  4. difficult or trouble breathing
  5. dizziness
  6. fast heartbeat
  7. headache
  8. irregular, fast or slow, or shallow breathing
  9. swelling
  10. trouble in walking
  11. unusual bruising
  12. weakness

Less common

  1. Itching in the genital or other skin areas
  2. scaling
  3. sugar in the urine

Incidence not known

  1. Chest tightness
  2. cough
  3. difficulty swallowing
  4. puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue
  5. skin itching, rash, or redness
  6. swelling of the face, throat, or tongue
  7. unusual tiredness or weakness

Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your healthcare professional.
