Research

Sarcoma research is conducted in coordination with Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center. Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center receives funding from the National Cancer Institute and is designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center. This designation recognizes the institution's scientific excellence and multidisciplinary resources focused on cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Clinical trials are sponsored by cooperative clinical research trial networks, including the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and Children's Oncology Group.
