1. A Study to Assess Clonal Diversity of Freshly Taken ESD Specimens

   Rochester, Minn.

   Inclusion Criteria:

   • Patients with Barrett’s Esophagus (BE) or Esophageal Adenocarcinoma (EAC) that are planned for Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) treatment.

   Exclusion Criteria: 

   • Patients without BE or EAC or that are not planned for ESD treatment.

2. Trans-Pacific Multicenter Collaborative Study of Minimally Invasive Proximal Versus Total Gastrectomy for Proximal Gastric and Gastroesophageal Junction Cancers

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to compare the symptoms of patients who have a MIPG to the symptoms of patients who have a MITG.

3. Gynecologic Extramammary Paget's Disease

   Rochester, Minn.

   In addition to evaluating treatment outcomes, tissue samples and swabs will be collected as part of this study to allow physicians to better understand Extramammary Paget's Disease (EMPD). The researchers also want to learn more about the microorganisms (microbiome) that live on or near the areas of skin affected by EMPD, in order to better understand this condition.

4. Monitoring Symptoms to Help Young Women Take Hormone Therapy for Stage I-III Breast Cancer, ASPEN Study

   La Crosse, Wis., Eau Claire, Wis., Albert Lea, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to compare the effect of active symptom monitoring and patient education to patient education alone in helping young women with stage I-III breast cancer stay on their hormone therapy medicines.  

5. In-home Versus In-Clinic Subcutaneous Nivolumab Administration through Connected and Remote Cancer CARE Beyond Walls

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of the location of SQ Nivo administration, at the infusion center or in the home, on patient preference and acceptability, safety, patient reported outcomes (PROs), and clinical outcomes.

6. A Study of Lutetium Lu 177 Dotatate (Lutathera®) in Patients with Inoperable, Progressive Meningioma after External Beam Radiation Therapy

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to estimate the efficacy of LUTATHERA treatment in patients with recurrent grade 1 meningioma as measured by 6-month PFS rate, and to estimate the efficacy of LUTATHERA treatment in patients with recurrent grade 2 or 3 meningioma as measured by 6-month PFS rate.

    

7. A Study to Evaluate APG2575 Combined with Novel Therapeutic Regimens To Treat Subjects with Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma and Immunoglobulin Light Chain Amyloidosis

   Jacksonville, Fla.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability, identify dose-limiting toxicities (DLT) and the maximum tolerated dose (MTD and recommended phase II dose (RP2D of APG2575 in combination with Pomalidomide/dexamethasone (Pd) in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) multiple myeloma (MM), or immunoglobulin light chain (AL) amyloidosis, and to evaluate the safety and tolerability, identify dose-limiting toxicities (DLT) and the maximum tolerated dose (MTD and recommended phase II dose (RP2D of APG2575 in combination with Daratumumab/Lenalidomide/dexamethasone (DRd) in patients with relapsed/refractory (R/R) multiple myeloma (MM).

    

8. The Impact of a Geriatric Assessment in Elderly Patients with Multiple Myeloma

   Rochester, Minn.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate the association between a baseline comprehensive geriatric assessment (cGA) and chemotherapy toxicity in the first 4 months of treatment measured by treatment-related adverse events, patient-reported outcomes (PROs), and treatment discontinuation in older patients (≥ 65 years) with multiple myeloma (MM).

   Multiple myeloma (MM) is a blood cancer that affects a type of white cell called plasma cell. It mainly affects older individuals and has an average age at diagnosis of 69 years. 

9. Treating Breast Cancer Patients Undergoing Trastuzumab Treatment with Carvedilol to Reduce Incidence of Heart Failure

   Rochester, Minn., Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

   The purpose of this study is to evaluate different strategies of cardiovascular therapy with Carvedilol, aiming to reduce the incidence of left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) decline and heart failure (HF) in patients undergoing curative intent Trastuzumab for breast cancer.

10. Minimally Invasive Molecular Approaches for the Diagnosis of Barrett's Esophagus and Esophageal Adenocarcinoma

    Rochester, Minn., Mankato, Minn., La Crosse, Wis., Jacksonville, Fla., Eau Claire, Wis., Austin, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz.

    This study will evaluate if the sponge capsule device can accurately detect the presence of Barrett's Esophagus and prevalent dysplasia/adenocarcinoma detection, in a screening population, with and without chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease.
