Biographical summary
Darya P. Shlapak, M.D., MBA, is a Neuroradiologist with a special interest in Head and Neck/Skull Base diagnostic imaging. Her procedural skills include percutaneous CT-guided head/neck/spine biopsies, fluoro- and CT-guided spinal pain injections (dorsal/transforaminal epidural steroid injections and facet/sacroiliac joint injections), epidural blood patches, vertebroplasty/sacroplasty and lateral decubitus digital subtraction
and CT myelography.
She completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Baylor Scott & White Health Hospital in Temple, Texas, and Neuroradiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and is currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Senior Associate Consultant at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Division of Neuroradiology.
